Youth Villages Oregon – Lynne Saxton
As the executive director, Lynne oversees the residential treatment program at the Christie Campus, the Intercept intensive in-home services program, the Cedar Bough Native American Program and the Mosaic transitional living program for young adults aging out of foster care or state custody. Prior to joining the private nonprofit organization, Saxton built a successful career in public affairs in the business sector, serving as chief of consumer protection and information for the Alaska Public Utilities Commission, as well as public affairs manager for Portland General Electric Company. She also served on the boards the Oregon Land Conservation and Development Commission, Portland Indian Leaders Roundtable and the Willamette University board of trustees. She has also served as chair of the Metropolitan Family Services board and is a member of Oregon’s Early Learning Council and the International Women’s Forum.
