Children’s Cancer Association is a great organization located in Portland. It helps children and families dealing with cancer and cancer treatment. CCA was started by Regina and Cliff Ellis in honor of their daughter, Alex, who died from cancer. I met them when Alex and my son, Elliot attended preschool together. My son is graduating from college this year. This organization has grown by leaps and bounds over the past twenty years, and their caring and help to those children and families in need is truly amazing.
