I am busy in my studio wrapping up my “Women Who CARE Portrait Project”. I have embarked on a schedule of completing a portrait each week during the summer months! The one word that keeps running through my mind is simplify! Easy to think about but hard to do. If I see 5 shapes that create a facial feature, I simplify to 3. I can carry the word to every aspect of my daily life, and I am finding less pressure and more joy!
